Unlock a world of culture, art and opportunities for your child with our French lessons for teens and younger children. Not only is it the official language of France, but also the fifth most widely spoken language on the planet, which is spoken on all five continents across the globe. It is the language of the arts, fashion and gastronomy, and opens doors in the higher education and international job markets. At Berlitz France, we tailor our classes to our students' developmental stages with age-appropriate lessons, activities and materials to make French for teens and ages below easily available and comfortable for everyone.
A boost for the brain
Research has found that children who learn a second language may be more creative, have better problem-solving skills, are faster learners, and find it easier to connect with different cultures.
Children also find it much easier than adults to learn a second (or third) language because the language center of their brain is still in development.
