Although all of us are here to mourn Kevin’s departure from our team, it seems like everyone's having a good time.
As we all know, Kevin is a helpful colleague and a fun friend to have around. At work, he always helped me to make presentation slides in English. At parties, he always helped me to go home before the last train so that I wouldn’t get scolded by my wife.
So let’s raise our glasses to wish Kevin the best of luck in his future. Cheers!

So let’s raise our glasses to wish Kevin the best of luck in his future. Cheers!
I’d like to say a few words for Sarah. English is not my best language, but let me try.
The day we met Sarah was a hot summer day when she came to our lab on an exchange program. We were surprised how good her Japanese was, although she told us that it was her first time to live in Japan.
On her first weekend here, we took her to Akihabara to do everything: maid cafés, maid cafés, and maid cafés. I don’t think I need to go to a maid café ever again.
Sarah will go back to California to continue her research and we will surely miss her. With all her passion, I’m very sure she will become a great researcher.
Today, with all of us together, I’d like to wish her good luck. Sarah, please come visit us again every vacation.
Does everyone have a glass? OK, cheers!
