Course details
Our state-funded live online German and English courses are designed to improve your professional language skills. In small groups of up to 12 participants, you will practice real-life communication scenarios to gain confidence in a work environment.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Berlitz certificate, recognized in the business world and by potential employers, confirming your acquired language skills.
To participate in a state-funded live online German or English course, you will need a Bildungsgutschein (education voucher) or an Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein (AVGS) from the Agentur für Arbeit (Employment Agency) or Job Center.
To take part in the course, you will need:
- A computer with internet access
- A microphone and a headset
- A stable internet connection
Before the course starts, you will take an oral and written language assessment to ensure you join the right group level, where all participants have a similar language proficiency.
You can find the course fees for self-funded participants in the course overview. If you have a Bildungsgutschein or an Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein (AVGS), 100% of the course fees will be covered. In a personal consultation, we will clarify which state-funding options are available for you.

Our live online German and English courses are available in full-time and part-time formats. A single module usually lasts between 4 and 8 weeks. Classes take place at fixed times in a virtual classroom, allowing you to join from anywhere with an internet connection.
