Course details
The job-related language courses help adults at language levels A2 or B1 to improve their professional German language skills. They can immediately apply what they have learned at work. The goal is, even with limited German skills, to quickly be ready to work.
Course formats:
- We offer open group classes with 5 to 7 participants.
- For company groups, we provide in-house training.
- The German language courses include a total of 100-150 lesson units.
Your Berlitz trainer team has a wealth of professional experience and regularly undergoes pedagogical training with us. Their occupational and intercultural knowledge is incorporated into the German language courses.
The course content is practice-oriented, covering topics relevant to the respective professional groups. Our pedagogical team has specifically developed the content for business topics in the German language.
To participate in a state-subsidized German class with the BAMF Job-Turbo initiative, a completed integration course or a B1 language level is required. For the online format, a computer with internet access, microphone, and headset is needed.

Now: German courses for apprentices
There are specially funded BAMF German courses for apprentices with migrant backgrounds who are pursuing dual vocational training in Germany. These courses focus on the targeted improvement of German language skills for apprenticeships and vocational schools, and on preparation for the final examination. We offer German courses for a variety of professions and subjects. These courses are 100% funded by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).
