Vacation vibes at the Seebrugg language camp
Exciting, extra exciting, español or english: that's our motto at our language camp in Seebrugg. After language classes in the mornings, we'll organize exciting team challenges, swim in the bathing lake, or get creative together. And all this takes place in a beautiful setting in the southern Black Forest. That's how we make vacations fun!
Seebrugg language camp – the perfect place to learn a language
Speaking instead of cramming: kids learn languages best by using them. That is our mission at the holiday camp. In addition to a great leisure program in the afternoons, our participants can look forward to:
- Lessons in the mornings (5 days a week, 4 x 45 minutes each) and
- Learning in small groups according to the Berlitz method ("learning by speaking").
During lessons, our qualified counselors will focus on one thing above all: having fun with the language through, for example, varied learning methods. In addition to language games, kids might conduct interviews, write or edit song lyrics, or create articles for their own camp magazine.
The Berlitz team will assign kids to learning groups according to their age and language level on the day of arrival. This ensures that all kids benefit from the best possible learning environment.
Learn a language without a textbook: our afternoon program
How do you say campfire in Spanish? Or discovery tour in English? At our camp, we continue learning in a playful way even after the morning classes are over and have a lot of fun in the process. Because we talk (almost) all the time in the foreign language. Our camp director speaks German, but it will only be used for giving safety instructions or in exceptional cases.
Fun and action both indoors and out
Seebrugg is the ideal place for a colorful, varied camp where active kids will feel right at home. Some examples of our activities:
- When the sun is out, we'll be spending plenty of time at the lake: Enjoying the sun in the morning on a SUP excursion, or would you rather go for a spin in a canoe?
- Of course, we also explore the scenic surroundings: Those who want go for a walk in nature and collect natural materials, which we then use to craft something cool.
- We also do sports in the fresh air or prove our skills on the team course.
- If the weather doesn't cooperate, or if it's already too cold for outdoor water action at Easter or in the fall, we visit the adventure pool instead. Or we'll organize cool indoor activities like creative workshops or fun games.
The exciting day ends for participants of our Day Camps with afternoon activities at 5.30 p.m. But don’t worry: The next day directly starts at 8.45 a.m. with language training and varied activities.
Cozy evenings with friends new and old
After an exciting afternoon filled with lots of fun and action, we'll end the evening off together. What if it's warm and summery outside? Then we'll have a camp party and, for example, sing English or Spanish songs around the campfire. How about when it's cozier inside? In that case, we get together for a games night or a quiz evening, for example. Or we'll host an exciting themed evening based on the mood, and that's, of course, in the foreign language.
Important note: The offered activities are depending on the weather, date, and availability – therefore the program may vary.

Lush, green forests, sparkling blue water, and lots of fresh air: in Seebrugg, we don't just learn, we also enjoy the stunning natural surroundings. Additional information
Having qualified counselors is the be-all and end-all at our Seebrugg language camp. Our counselors come from different countries, including England, Mexico, France, the US, and Austria. They have plenty of experience in looking after kids.
In addition to the lessons in the mornings, they are responsible for organizing the recreational activities in the afternoons and evenings. What makes us stand out: our counselors speak to kids in the foreign language all day long and motivate them to use the foreign language as much as possible. That's what makes learning fun!
Our ultimate goal: kids should feel completely at home at our Berlitz language camp. In addition to playing, having fun, and making new friends, that also includes good meals, three times a day. All three meals a day are prepared at the accommodation. Drinks like juice, tea, and water are provided with meals. Kids should bring a reusable water bottle to keep them hydrated between meals.
We also aim to offer alternatives for vegetarians, those with allergies, or kids who require special diets. Please be sure to contact us before booking!
The first camp day: You will get the exact arrival times with the travel information send to you before the start of the camp. In a common greeting, kids will receive their welcome package and get to know the counselor team and other participants. Everyone is welcome to ask any questions they may have at the special parents’ welcome session. In order to place them in the right learning group, we will do a short placement with the kids, based on a few short written and oral questions.
On the day of departure, kids can be picked up after the joint farewell for all camp participants. Please be on time, as the entire Berlitz team will also be leaving. After camp, we will send you the camp magazine and, of course, a certificate of participation.
Then take a look at our kids camp FAQ page where we have gathered further information.
We will also send you further details regarding the pack list, arrival and departure etc. by e-mail after your booking.
The Seebrugg language camp includes the following services

What our customers say
"Our daughter was very well taken care of this week, and she definitely wants to go again next year. What she liked best was the cohesion between the children."
